Test Your Fear of Speaking
In 1970 a researcher named James C. McCroskey, professor of communications at the University of Illinois, developed and tested an assessment called the Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety (PRPSA). He published his findings in a journal called Speech Monographs ("Measures of Communication Bound Anxiety," November, 1970). The findings demonstrated that the assessment was a valid and reliable measure of anxiety related to public speaking and included scoring results and interpretation. You can take the assessment now or at your convenience and get your results right away.
